Youmoni's IoT platform can be used for a multitude of purposes, for example infrastructure and platforms for services, data presentation, devices and packages. These platforms are used in Youmoni's applications for purposes such as tracking, remote monitoring, state and transactions as well as custom applications based on customer needs. These services are used in sectors such as Transportation / Logistics, Automated Retail Commerce, Property / Smart City and Industry Energy.

Connect

We connect your things by adding sensors, or by using existing sensors and data interfaces. An IoT gateway or edge computer collects, filters and secures the data. The gateway is connected to a common wireless broadband service or a free data network and sends the data to the Youmoni IoT cloud where it’s stored, visualized, processed and analyzed.

Visualize

To maximize your insights, we visualize your data to make it easy to understand. The Youmoni Cloud has a ready-to-use user interface, where the location, sensor status and notifications for the connected things are presented. The web interface can easily be adapted with new components and branded with your company's style, and also supports white labelling.

Analyse

Once connected, all data is stored in the Youmoni Cloud. New insights and patterns will be recognised, improving your products and processes. Data is fully separated between accounts, and always owned by our customers.

Real World Example

A pump motor is placed in the basement of a building and shall pump water if the basement is flooded. The pump motor is online via Youmoni edge gateway. It has connected a temp sensor, a relay that controls the electricity to the motor and a flood sensor on the floor.

Every time the floor is flooded Youmoni monitors the flooding status, measures the electricity performance to the motor and the motors temperature. The flooding pattern repeats quite regular, every month.

One morning the motor starts, but the flood sensor reports no water and the motor speeds with a higher rpm (casing it to be warm) because it has no water to pump. The AI sees the anomaly and Reacts, It shuts down the motor and reports the action via a notification in the property's online dashboard and send an SMS to the service organisation that the basement pump needs maintenance.

The process will result in lower maintenance cost because the pump was rescued from overheating and the service organization can gfive service to the flood detector in time.
